Greenday

Green Day was part of the California punk scene. Childhood friends Billie Joe Armstrong (guitar, vocals) and Mike Dirnt (bass; born Mike Pritchard) formed their first band, Sweet Children, in California when they were 14 years old. By 1989, the group had added drummer Al Sobrante and changed their name to Green Day. That year, the band independently released their first EP, 1,000 Hours, which was well-received in the punk scene. Soon, the group had signed a contract with the local independent label, Lookout! Records. 39/Smooth, Green Day's first album, was released later that year. Shortly after its release, the band replaced Kiftmeyer with Tre Cool ; Tre Cool became the band's permanent drummer.

Green Day's musics are just great to me. I stared to listen to them after they released their lastest album, American Idiot. I really like it at first and I have not yet been bored by it. They have some amazing songs in this album which seen them climb up to the top of the billboard chart and that album was the best selling and won the awards. Then, I bought another album called dookie. it did not disappoint me either. They seem to be one of my favorite band so I bought all of their albums from the first to the lastest. I listen to them all but have not yet been able to remember the titles of the songs nor the words in them.

It is not only their songs that i like, but i enjoy their music videos as well. I like "Wake me up when september ends." It's an emotional video which talk about the lovers. The boy is going to war by his will which is not what is girlfriend wanted and that make her really made at him.
